1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Miniclay AI's platform, API, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Miniclay AI provides a synthetic data validation platform that analyzes datasets for quality risks, including:

• Entropy analysis to detect repetitive content.
• Cosine similarity detection for near-duplicate data.
• Unique ratio checks for template repetition.
• AI-powered rescue data generation for flagged datasets.
• API access for programmatic integration.

3. Account & API Keys

• You must create an account via our Clerk-powered authentication to access the dashboard and generate API keys.
• You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Do not share it publicly or embed it in client-side code.
• We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are associated with abusive or unauthorized usage.
• Each account is limited to one active API key at a time. Generating a new key invalidates the previous one.

4. Usage Limits & Fair Use

You agree not to:

• Circumvent usage limits by creating multiple accounts.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to process unlawful content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our algorithms.
• Resell or redistribute API access without written permission.
• Upload files exceeding 50 MB per request.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, code, algorithms, and documentation on the Miniclay AI platform are owned by Miniclay AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any data you upload — we claim no rights over your datasets.

6. Data Processing

When you use our Service:

• Uploaded files are processed in-memory only and are not stored permanently.
• Session data (validated results) expires automatically after 30 minutes.
• We do not use your uploaded data to train or improve our models.
• API usage statistics (line counts, timestamps) are stored in our Supabase database for quota enforcement.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Miniclay AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that our risk analysis is 100% accurate, that rescue data will be suitable for your specific use case, or that the Service will meet all your requirements.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. Upon termination, your API key will be revoked and your right to access the Service will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
